This 4+ bedroom country home can easily sleep 8-10 and is available for a weekend get-away, a month long escape or a seasonal occupation!
Located in Pine Mountain, GA and close to Interstate 185, the property literally backs onto the FDR State Park and the views are both serene and stunning. Access the hiking trails and begin your adventure. A hot tub offers a welcome opportunity to relax and unwind. Meanwhile, the three elevated decks and screened-in porch offer beautiful views and multiple spots to gather, chat, read a book or escape.
Adventure awaits at this centrally-located retreat. FDR State Park offers 43 Miles of trails as well as lakes, camping and horseback riding! A five minute drive takes you to famous Callaway Gardens and its lakes, pool, restaurant and seasonal family fun. A short five minute drive further and you are in quaint Pine Mountain with its shops and restaurant options, or you can take a dip at the historic spring fed Liberty Bell Pool. After a further 20 minute drive, you will arrive at Roosevelt’s Little White House Historic Site! Finally, if you are looking for something "wild", the Wild Animal Safari is just 15 minutes away from the property.

Completely re-imagined and re-decorated for 2024.
This cottage home is completely renovated and comes move-in ready with all the furniture, fixtures and amenities to make you feel at home. It truly is a gem not to be missed. Arrive to your private driveway with ample room to park. There you are greeted by a long, furnished screened-in porch. Great for taking your morning coffee. Alternately you can land on the front deck with comfortable Adirondack chairs. Enter the soaring foyer and immediately feel yourself relax.
The kitchen offers fresh wood cabinets, new appliances, a small dining table and a built in desk, if needed. The adjacent pantry offers loads of storage and a convenient washer and dryer. You will of course find all the cookware, utensils and necessary items to create meals and indulge. The main dining room is truly breath-taking with floor to ceiling windows allowing a stunning view of the forest and park beyond. The luminous living room also enjoys the same amazing views and is furnished for relaxation, featuring a wine fridge, wet bar, large comfortable seating and a large smart TV for entertainment. Step out onto your private balcony as the perfect spot to gather the clan or to gaze at the stars while enjoying the serenity of this unique setting. Cozy up by the (gas) firepit or throw something tasty on the (gas) BBQ grill as you remember the adventures of the day. An adjacent sitting room provides another refuge to relax in or to enjoy a cozy fire.
Take the charming wooden stairs up to the second floor for another sitting area, this time with an over-look to the living room below. This space offers a pull-out couch for additional sleeping as well as quiet board games. Here also is where you will find your spacious Master Bedroom, a haven of comfort, featuring a luxurious King-sized bed, high-end linens, a large dresser, flat screen smart TV and incomparable views of the forest valley below. The ensuite Master Bath has been completely renovated with new his and her vanities, storage hutch, stone-tiled walk-in shower and separate soaker-tub bath to luxuriate in. All fixtures are new as of winter 2024.
The Second Bedroom is spacious and outfitted with all new furniture including 2 Queen beds and steps out into the sitting area/fireplace room referenced above. The Third bedroom also offers 2 new Queen Beds and shares a newly renovated bathroom and shower. An additional guest 2-piece powder room addresses the needs of visitors. Finally, this home offers a 4th bedroom, perfect for kids. It boasts a beautiful bunk-bed, comfy seating and its own tv for gaming. All linens and towels are ready and waiting. • Check-in: After 4:00 PM Check-out: Before 11:00 AM (Guest’s will be charged $50 for every 30 minutes Guest stays past check-out time. We ask you to please follow the check-in and check-out times. )
• Landlord assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or abandoned items. Reasonable effort will be made to contact the Guest for return. There will be a $25. 00 handling charge plus shipping costs for any found items returned at Guest’s request. Management shall not be held liable for condition of said items. Any items not claimed for longer than 30 days, may be donated or sold.

February 2026This is such a beautiful home, private, extremely clean, and accommodating. We were there for a wedding in Lagrange and couldn’t have been better located. Close to area attractions , restaurants and town. The only issue we had was the water didn’t seem to get hot during our stay. I think it was due to it being Winter months. The host was great communicating during the entire process from booking until checkout. The instructions were easy to follow. I would love to stay here again! It was a great weekend!
